John P. Weiss is a writer and former police chief with 26-years of law enforcement experience. He is the author of the poignant short story collection, "The Morning Fox: Stories of Love, Loss, and Hope." 

Weiss's previous books include, "What Life Should Be About: Elegant Essays on the Things That Matter," and "An Artful Life: Inspirational Stories and Essays for the Artist in Everyone."
