Megan- I can relate. In law enforcement, I received and witnessed other officers receive terrible treatment from members of the public. As a supervisor, I always made a point of praising our officers for their professionalism. We also sought the best training to diffuse angry people and try to find positive outcomes. Sometimes we succeeded, sometimes not. But at least we could go home knowing we tried out best. Good luck to you!
