Much like James Joyce’s discursive style of writing was strange and new. Some hated it, but it obviously resonated with others. Of course, work that is just different to be different doesn’t guarantee success, there must be some kind of value or positive quality to it. Some creatives shoot for pure novelty or attention instead of finding something deeper and realer and truly honest and personal to share.
