Thanks, Charlie. Yes, there is a difference between simply memorializing events versus creating art via photography or video. There’s nothing wrong with taking pictures at that wedding or high school graduation. It’s fun to look back on those pictures later in life. But people today are taking pictures of EVERYTHING, from their lunch to gym workout. And I wonder if all this mindless documentation to populate their social media feeds might be stealing time away from more intentional living.
