Thanks Eric, I agree. What I left out of the article, for brevity sake, was a bit of my own gear acquisition syndrome. Before the Sony I bought a Fuji X100v, a lovely camera that I didn’t quite understand at the time. So I sent it back (and now nobody can find one!). Then I bought a Leica M (Typ 240) with a Voightlander 75mm lens. Needless to say, I didn’t understand the rangefinder focus system, and sent that camera back. Then the Sony, which I learned, and finally the Fuji X-Pro 3, which I love. If I eventually pick up a Q2 Monochrom, I’m not sure I could let go of the Fuji. But the minimalist in me strives to keep it simple.
