Yeah, sketching and fiction writing can be hard to monetize, if you're looking to make a living from them. Non-fiction is probably easier to get published. Guess I'm lucky in that I have a retirement income, so I'm not dependent on my creative work for income. But it is nice to make a few bucks here and there for coffee money and cat kibble!
